I have around 300 comics from the 1970’s and early 80’s, all in english, and am wondering if they are worth anything? They are mostly Uncle Scrooge, Ritchie Rich and Archie comics. All with covers, nothing cut out, and in pretty good shape overall.

Maybe a few hundred to possibly a grand but that’s probably about it. There may be a few in there some where that are worth $10-$30 but you would be lucky to find one more than that.
Get an Overstreet Price Guide. They are huge and have pretty much every comic book ever made in them. They are a bit pricey,like $20 or something but well worth it and are the accepted standard for pricing.
Don’t use Wizard pricing guides.

You should take them to a comic shop. Call a few in your area to see when you could come in with a few of your best samples. Also at some comic book conventions there are specialist that will look at some that you have and give you an appraisal. Searching EBAY can sometimes give you a good idea of what a specific issue is going for but you have to remember that the quality is a huge factor.
