redplague888 : I really haven’t researched how the effects were done, but I remember reading in the TV Guide that they had developed a new fx process just for this show.

Garrick Ave. is an allusion to the original Flash of the 40s, Jay Garrick.

I was 13 when this series aired on CBS. I only saw a few episodes here and there. I think the reason why this show didn’t last was because they showed it on Saturday evenings. If you think about it, who wants to spend their Saturday evening watching TV? They’d rather get out and do something. If this was shown on either a Sunday or a weeknight, I think the show would’ve made it.

wow yeah they usually just shows movies or reruns on saturdays. That was stupid of them, and you know what kids want to do on saturdays, watch cartoons, play outside or just hang out.

What i didn’t understand is why was Iris in the Art business? Iris was a reporter for the Picture News, based in Central City, and the girlfriend of the chronically late Barry Allen. I ronic huh? the Fastest Man Alive could’n’t kep a date.

There are different men who were different incarnations of the “Flash”. Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, and Wally West. It depends on the time line of the characters in the DC universe..

Wally West is Iris West’s (Barry Allen’s) nephew. Wally West was originally Kid Flash and was trained by Barry when Wally gained his powers. Eventually He took over for Barry.

Is it just me, but does the guy that plays Barry look a tad like Ryan Reynolds? Because Ryan was originaly going to play the Flash a couple of years ago.

Danny Elfmans score fits perfectly for the flash. I loved and will always remember the quick piece he conducted when barry sees the bus pulling away, and speeds to catch. Does anyone know where i can get the soundtrack?
