i have berol turquoise 4c really hard lead. but great for doing the gesture drawings and stays sharp for a long time.

Considering Jim Lee has been and still is considered to be top of the food chain + owns his own popular IP in the industry I’d say yes guys like that clear 250k to a cool million per annum.

You have to practice hours on end, every single day to get this good. Tutors can make the process faster, but they can only take you that far. Everyone can become this good, it’s just some people can get a hang of it faster, while others have to slog a bit more.

Underchiever I dig your logic I have been drawing since I was 2 and People ask me all the time Damn how can you draw so fast, and the answer is always PRACTICE every day one minute to 3 hours whatever it HELPS

He went to College, but he was a Biology major.
When he was a kid, his parents sent him to art summer camp every summer until he graduated High School and went off to college.
Besides that it was mostly practise.
It’s on the DVD for the Wildcats Animated series as it comes with a free profile in the EXTRAS menu.
Also, I Googled “Jim Lee Comic Book Artist.”
